Across the planet, humans eat on average between 1 and 2.7 kilograms of food a day, and every last scrap makes its way through the digestive system. Comprised of ten organs covering nine meters, this is one of the most complicated systems in the body. Emma Bryce explains how the different parts of the digestive system work to transform your food into the nutrients and energy that keep you alive.

  1. Our System Is The Only System Which Converts Good Products Into Bad End Products While Other System In Factories Convert Bad Products Into A Good Final Product.

  2. 2:58 3 hours in stomach , well that’s wrong and also bile salt , enzyme… are not excreted in stomach but in small intestine

  3. Wow. I took a teaching company (now the great courses) lecture on this from a doctor (one of the best doctors alive at the time) and this comparatively short video absolutely crushed that course.

Way to go Ted-Ed! Please consider a new Patreon and please consider doing more about each body system. This video alone will save at least a thousand human lives, perhaps my own! Just amazing.
