  1. I just hate how I don’t know what’s wrong with me but don’t wanna go on pills. I am scared of pills. Are pills even safe to do. I don’t wanna believe in medicine

  2. I was diagnosed bipolar disorder, but my moods shift in an instant and more than once a day. I never tend to stay in a high or low for too long.

  3. Not sure about manic episodes being happy.

My brother, before being diagnosed with bipolar, had manic episodes where he would talk fast and would be incoherent, loosely stringing together something that barely relates to what was being talked about. He was very irritable and would get very angry and abusive with my parents. He would often stay up for a couple days, would be able to jog for hours and had endless amounts of energy (like he was on meth). He was almost delusional. He would run off for 24 hours and come back. One time he came back with a broken arm and blood on his face. My dog died as a result of a manic episode. He threw the stick onto the road and an oncoming car ran him over when the dog tried to fetch it.

Bipolar can be very dangerous (if not properly treated). Despite seeing a psychologist, he did not approve until he was taken involuntarily to the mental ward by police (Mental Health Act WA 2014) and given medication.

To date, thanks to the meds, he has not had another episode. It will take a couple more years to get back to normal but as long as he is heading in the right direction.

In retrospect, we should have acted sooner. We knew something was wrong during his first manic episode. That is when we should have hospitalised him. They will say they are fine but if you know they’re not then, for their own and everyone else’s betterment, they need help.

  4. I had this diagnosed last year, and I had maybe 20 years, committed suicide once,
God completely healed me and I am now free of medication.

  5. I’m 99 percent sure I have bi polar disorder but when I asume I get manic I get mad really easily and basically turn into a psychopath what is this?

  6. The best way forward for any person with mental health issues, is to live always by the true teaching of Immanuel (the anointed one) also called Jesus, and reject all the many priests and preachers of all religions; because they are all the fake prophets of whom he already warned us against, almost 2,000 years ago! – When he alone is the Son of man sent by the Lord God, to thereby teach each one of us how to live a truly happy and a well fulfilled life…

“I will raise up for them a prophet like you [Moses] from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth.” – (Deuteronomy 18: 18) –

“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign: A young woman is with child, and she will bear a son, and will call him Immanuel.” [“God-is-with-us”] – (The prophet Isaiah 7: 14) –

“If you have ears to hear: then hear.” – (Jesus Immanuel, at Mark 4: 9) –

“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” – (at John 4: 24) –

With regard to all the many priests and preachers of all religions that are now rife among us, he said this: “Beware of false prophets, men who come to you dressed up as sheep while underneath they are savage wolves. You will recognize them by the fruits they bear.” – (at Matthew 7: 15-16) –

“Do not call any man on earth ‘father’; for you have one Father and he is in heaven. Nor must you be called ‘teacher’; you have one Teacher, the Messiah.” – (Matthew 23: 9-10) –

“The thief comes only to steal, to kill, to destroy; I have come that men may have life, and may have it in all its fullness.” – (John 10: 10) –

“Take care that no one misleads you: For many will come claiming my name…”
    – (Matthew 24: 4) –
“Many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many; and as lawlessness spreads, men’s love for one another will grow cold. But the man who holds out to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the earth as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come.” – (Matthew 24: 11-14) –

“I am the way; I am the truth and I am life; no one comes to the Father except by me. If you knew me you would know my Father too.” – (John 14: 6-7) –

“When you pray, go into a room by yourself, and shut the door. Pray to your Father who is there in the secret place; and your Father who sees what is secret will reward you.
In your prayers do not go babbling on like the heathen, who imagine that the more they say the more likely they are to be heard.
Do not imitate them. Your Father knows what your needs are before you ask him.
This is how you should pray:
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come; your will be done, on earth as in heaven,
Give us today our daily bread,
And forgive us the wrong we have done, as we have forgiven those who have wronged us.
And do not bring us to the test, but save us from the evil one.
For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, for ever.
    Amen.
For if you forgive others the wrongs they have done, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you do not forgive others, then the wrongs you have done will not be forgiven by your Father.” – (Matthew 6: 6-15) –

“Pass no judgement, and you will not be judged. For as you judge others, so you will yourselves be judged, and whatever measure you deal out to others will be dealt back to you.” – (Matthew 7: 1-2) –

“Truly I tell you; if anyone obeys my teaching he shall never know what it is to die.”
    – (John 8: 51) –
“Always treat others as you would like them to treat you: that is the Law and the Prophets.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it.” – (Matthew 7: 12-14) –

“I am the gate; anyone who comes into the fold through me shall be safe. He shall go in and out and shall find pasturage.” – (John 10: 9) –

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” – (Matthew 7: 21) –
“I am the resurrection and I am life. If a man has faith in me, even though he dies, he shall come to life; and no one who is alive and has faith shall ever die.” – (John 11: 25-26) –

“I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world” – (John 12: 47) –
“Whoever then will acknowledge me before men, I will acknowledge him before my Father in heaven; and whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.” – (Matthew 10: 32-34) –

“The disciples came and asked Jesus, ‘Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven?’ He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven.
Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.
If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, It would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!’” – (Matthew 18: 1-7) –

“Though many are called, few are chosen,” – (Matthew 22: 14) –

“An expert in the law, [a leading religious Pharisee] tested him with this question: ‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’ He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind. That is the greatest commandment. It comes first. The second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself. Everything in the Law and the Prophets hangs on these two commandments.’” – (Matthew 22: 35-40) –
“There is no greater love than this, that a man should lay down his life for his friends.” – (John 15: 13) –

"Stay awake, and pray that you may be spared the test: The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." – (Matthew 26: 41) –
“However, when he comes who is the Spirit of truth; he will guide you into all the truth.” – (John 16: 13) –

“Teach them to observe all that I have commanded you. And be assured, I am with you always, to the end of time.” (Matthew 28: 20) –

“One of the criminals who hung there also mocked and taunted him: ‘Aren’t you the Messiah? Save yourself, and us!’ But the other criminal rebuked him. ‘Have you no fear of God? You are under the same sentence as he. For us it is plain justice; we are paying the price for our misdeeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.’ And he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.’ He answered, “I tell you this: today you shall be with me in Paradise.’” – (Luke 23: 39-43) –

“For it is my Father’s will that everyone who looks upon the Son and puts his faith in him shall possess eternal life; and I will raise him up on the last day” – (John 6: 40) –

Yours always, in true Spirit and in our one given prayer, 2gointruth, Tuesday the 15th of October, 2019: – (Matthew 5:14-16) – Where every minute (of both day and night) can be a new beginning for any one of us. Let it always be you.

  7. i have been diagnosed with an adjustment disorder to a major traumatic event in my life earlier this year and see a therapist for it, but now i see this and wonder if my problem might actually be a lot bigger as one of my parents also is bipolar…

  8. It seems that my bp boyfriend has only 2 moods: depressed or angry and ranting non stop. Never in between those two

  9. Mental illness is not a behavioral problem. Misbehaving is a behavioral problem. People with mental illness have symptoms. Misbehaving is not a symptom its a behavior problem.

  10. LOL i have 4 or more episodes of depression and mania in a week, how does this work is this even bipolar disorder

  11. I am working on deciding if I suffer from this disorder. I used to think my possible "manic" episodes were the normal me and that I had to work to get back to that state. But then I saw a video which explained that the manic episodes did more harm than good, so I have been practicing stopping the manic before it gets started and I get into trouble, or alienate people. Just this awareness has helped. Happened twice over these holiday season events (2019/20) and I can see where just this one awareness can be very helpful for me.
This BPD (I don’t have this diagnosis) was complicated in early childhood by parents who tried to break my manic episodes with terror and extreme punishment. We are talking extreme and continuous here. They "fought" my depressive episodes with more punishment and added extreme shaming to the mix. I lived in constant terror of their attacks and punishments, which I am sure led to the diagnosis of PTSD (CPTSD).
After viewing more of these BPD videos I have been attempting to separate out what might be BPD and PTSD. By being aware of the onset of a manic I can lesson the terror which PTSD releases on me to tone that manic down which in turn tones my anxiety and flash backs down. I guess that is a very positive step and I wish I had had this knowledge earlier. But better now than never.
Thank you for doing these videos and thanks for letting me rant. It does help me to share this new insight and explore its ramifications.

  12. Can someone tell me what type of mental illness is seeing a person and can feel them around and can touch them .?

  13. Nowadays supposed "Doctors" will put a bad label in every human traits so they can tailor personnalities and come up with "types". Forget about those BS, live your life with who you are as long as you dont bother others.

  14. I know this will get lost in the comments but if someone has advice please. My parents are great parents but I have been experincing these symptoms and to those people who will reply " DOn’t SeLf DiAgNoSe" I didn’t but I wanna go to a doctor and see whats wrong. Like maybe nothing is but just to check on my mental health. I have told my mom and sister and a little my dad but it isn’t really passed off as much. Like I told my mom how i felt but after couple days it felt like it never happened and i feel like my family just doesn’t want to adress the problem or me. What can I do? Please someone tell me.

  15. I’ve been considering that I mayyyy have bipolar disorder or something(s) similar. I have several of these symptoms and many mood swings. I also have social anxiety, not diagnosed or anything (if it can be diagnosed), but it’s a very large chance I have social anxiety, especially because I’ve literally had anxiety/panic attack’s from it just by being near too many people, I’ve had all of them in school.
I know that a self-diagnoses may not be accurate, especially sense I’m only turning thirteen in less than ten days, so I’m of course not trained or anything to know about bipolar disorder and many other disorders that it can be associated with or mixed up with, but I don’t really want to talk to my family about it as I’ve never talked to them about things related to me emotionally. My parents don’t even know about the four anxiety/panic attacks I’ve had at school because the school doesn’t tell them.
Although the cause is unknown, I am diabetic. I know that it’s not at all related to bipolar as in it’s not a mental disorder, but it could potentially factor in to my thoughts and behavior if I’m correct. So that ups my chance of having bipolar disorder and/or something(s) that associates with it or is mixed up with it. So I think I may be bipolar or something(s) similar to that.

  16. Such a well-made video and a very good graphic animation and also the video itself explains a lot and in details about the Bipolar Disorder as a whole . Thank you

  17. I shout at people sometimes and instantly feel ashamed of it, so i walk away. Am i insane? Or a dick? Clearly i know i am doing this cause i am making a comment about it, but i don’t know shit. The people i shout at don’t even warrant shouting or even require me getting up in their business, but i do it anyways.

  18. You have shared a piece of great information. I too have gone through this problem. I felt very bad at that time. I went to many hospitals but due to the result not being I was losing courage. Then Someone told him about Planet Ayurveda, he went there and took treatment. Now he is fine. So, if anyone is facing such kind of problem or any other health-related problem. You should go to Planet Ayurveda.

  19. What specifically about manic episodes require the person to be hospitalized, is it their actions while in a manic state or the mania it self

  20. I’ve had friends with mental issues over the years who I’ve been very kind loyal and supportive of and in return they are very rude to me. As soon as they treat me that way, my friendship with them is finished. I’m not putting all that effort to make them happy and then have them upset me in return ever again. People who have bipolar or any other kind of mental issues belong in a loony bin.

  21. Antidepressants and antianxiety pills are not FDA approved treatments for bipolar disorder. Don’t lump them in with anticonvulsants, antipsychotics and lithium all which are proven effective treatments.

  22. alll religion and spirital shit is used to by the goverment becouse they use mind control in many diffrent ways of torcher peoples minds gives them mental illnesses and woman kids men old people but u get the picture there probs on the moon or hidden somehwere on earth and where all probs chiped at birth or sometime during ur lifetime i guessing some olther stuff they use it for but i dont wish to speak about tht but beleive me when i tell u will get lost in the religious books there is no answers there

  23. It is known. Humans have caveman brains hunting n gathering. When glands are un balanced by stress bad foods. Then the body is in fight or flight mode.
